Solid wood folk chair, 1960

A great classic from Cepelia, this chair features a Polish folk design in the Zakopane, mountain style. The backrest has a geographical cut-out with a heart-shaped opening for a comfortable grip. Traditional patterns adorn it. The seat is made of two solid planks, allowing the wood to move without the seat splitting. Cepelia, founded in 1949, aimed to preserve and market Polish folk art. An icon of rustic chic. Oak, in good used condition with authentic patina, stable from the 1960s with period honey patina.
