Old Swiss escabelle chair in carved wood

Superb chair called "escabelle", in sculpted wood. Of swiss origin. It dates from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century and is in good general condition (a little play in the backrest, common on this type of model). A true object of popular art which will fit elegantly into a chalet. Or a country house.
