Rustic Painted Primitive Farmhouse Wabi Sabi Folk Art Mountain Chair

Traditional antique mountain chair from southern Germany. This characteristic and primitive chair is entirely handmade and assembled with mortise and tenon joints. This example is made of pine wood and was once painted white. The old paint is worn in many places, giving the chair a beautiful patina. Minimal signs of use can be observed, such as some old woodworm holes scattered throughout. These have of course been checked and treated. The chair is sturdy and suitable for daily use.
