Terracotta sculpture representing a woman in profile. Our work is called "The Meditation." It is the work of Amedeo Gennarelli, who was a student of Francesco Jerace. In 1909, he emigrated to France where he settled in Paris. He is famous for his female nudes. He exhibited his first work in 1913 at the Salon of the Société des artistes français, where he regularly exhibited until 1936. For his work, he used materials such as bronze, marble, terracotta, and sometimes wood. He received numerous awards for his work. Some of his pieces are made and distributed by the famous art publisher and foundry Goldscheider. Our work is signed Genarelli, dated 24/11/1942, and E.H.
