Buffet from the Louis XV period in carved oak – 18th century

Elegant low buffet at counter height, Louis XV period, made of oak, featuring a beautiful brown patina and rich carved decoration. The front opens with two molded doors and two drawers, with a decorative central panel between the drawers. The doors have shaped panels, adorned in their center with leaf motifs and sculpted volutes in relief. The lower rail, beautifully curved, is enhanced by an important central sculpture representing a shell surrounded by foliage and scrolls. The piece rests on four curved legs, finished at the front with characteristic Louis XV scrolls. Beautiful bronze or gilded brass fittings including pull handles, lock entries, and long visible pins. The solid wood top, with rounded corners, presents a beautiful surface and a warm patina. This buffet offers interesting storage volume while maintaining elegant proportions, allowing its use in a dining room, entryway, or living room. Period: 18th century. Wood: oak.
