For sale: a magnificent Louis XV style sideboard made of solid wood (oak with stunning burl veneer panels showcasing beautiful carvings). This beautifully crafted regional piece opens with: 2 large side doors with moulded panels in a gendarme hat style and original locks (key provided). 1 fixed central niche carved with an acanthus leaf motif. 3 belt drawers in perfect working condition (beautiful original bronze handles). Structure & Condition: The piece is very sound, robust, and authentic. The interior includes a central shelf. The back and drawer interiors demonstrate a solid traditional construction with mortise and tenon joints (see photos). Note: The top surface has a central groove.
