Handmade afghan ziegler rug in wool circa 1960. A beautifully crafted 19th-century design rug, using a fine weave and a delicate pattern. This is a ziegler rug, a rare and timeless style. The very low cut pile gives you different shades depending on the angle. To give the ziegler rug an original, worn look, the rug is sun-bleached and finished with sandstone. Not only the worn look, but also the design with wide edges, attractive colors, and centered patterns were adopted. Thanks to its antique look, the ziegler rug exudes a warm and lively atmosphere. The blue field furnished with light floral scrolls is framed by a cream border with floral frieze and piping; its majestic color palette fits into any environment.
