This is an antique european tetex rug woven in france during the first quarter of the 20th century, around the 1920s. Also called a "janus" rug using the lily stitch weaving method. In the style of persian rugs. Wool rug on a cotton base. Dimensions: 340x248 cm condition: abrach = color difference due to the rug being exposed to the sun over time. Restored edge on one side of the rug over 1.45 m in a different color (lighter green) see photos. Small stains visible in the photos. Shortened fringes. Professionally washed rug.
