Magnificent very old elm wood piece originating from a rural area in China, most likely Shanxi province. The furniture has been perfectly preserved with its original features, including the carved decorative patterns and the metal fittings that attest to the precious nature of this piece, which was certainly intended to store family heirlooms or other valuables. The furniture consists of three very deep drawers, one very large at the top and two others at the bottom. An ideal piece for a rustic kitchen or in a country house entrance or by the sea.
