Set of two large ceramic plates – fish "head to tail" design

A pair of large glazed ceramic plates, hand-painted, designed as a true visual dialogue. The two pieces respond to each other through a subtle play of stylised fish. One is titled "Head to Tail, " while the other bears the initials MP, accompanied by two small blue fish, serving as a discreet and poetic signature. When brought together, the plates create a moving scene: depending on their orientation, the viewer alternately sees a turquoise fish, a blue fish, or a green fish, creating a changing, almost playful reading of the composition. The decoration combines fish with free-flowing lines, sketched shells, colourful punctuations, and small hand-painted numbers, scattered like notebook annotations. Their meaning remains deliberately open: whether graphic winks or personal marks, they fully contribute to the unique identity of the whole.
