Iconic blue/green bowl with silver inlay depicting a fish and bubbles... ARGENTA series by Wilhelm Kage, Gustavsberg workshop in Sweden around 1950. Good condition. Wilhelm Kåge (1889-1960) is one of the most well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He was the artistic director of Gustavsberg in the 1930s and 1940s and is often referred to as the father of Swedish modernism. Kage is represented at the National Museum of Swedish Art and Design.
