Grès soup tureen Ratilly J&N Pierlot / Puisaye Covered soup tureen made of Puisaye stoneware, from the Ratilly workshop founded by Jeanne and Norbert Pierlot in Treigny, Yonne. The workshop is a reference for 20th-century Puisaye stoneware pottery. The piece is turned, round and compact in shape, with two small side handles. The lid is topped with a mushroom-shaped knob and features a notch to allow for a ladle. It is covered with a slightly bluish white glaze, matte and satin, which reveals the brown-red stoneware in places, particularly on the handles, the edge of the lid, and the base. Small speckles typical of the firing process give the glaze a very artisanal charm. Ceramic workshop spirit from the 1960s-70s. Height 20 cm. Diameter approximately 23 cm. Large capacity. It is in good condition.
