Set of 2 teak chairs by Peter Hvidt & Orla-Molgaard Nielsen

Magnificent "Model 316" chairs in teak, designed by the Danish duo Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by Søborg from the 1950s. Initially covered with raffia cord, the worn-out material has been replaced with Danish cord, giving the chairs a more elegant look. The curved backrest ensures excellent seating comfort. The warmth of the teak, combined with the lightness of the paper cord, creates a cosy atmosphere. These chairs instantly add a touch of comfort to any room. The Model 316 is still produced today by the company "&tradition", but no longer in teak. Two original vintage pieces are offered here. The chairs have been totally reworked, so the condition is great!
