Vintage coffee table in solid teak, with two levels. It consists of two stacked circular tops of different sizes. The tops are connected by slender brass rods, finished with an elegant spherical end, adding lightness and refinement to the whole. The lower top features a circular wooden structure, incorporating a wicker weave in its centre, a detail that is both decorative and typical of the Scandinavian design of the era. The furniture of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen is renowned for the precision of its lines, its timeless aesthetic, and the very high quality of craftsmanship.
