Vase in Quimper faience – HB Quimper – Model 510 decor C.C. – Circa 1955/1965. Beautiful faience signed HB Quimper, from the Breton manufacture HB-Henriot in Quimper, representing a vase in shape 510 with a polychrome floral decoration. Typical workshop work from the mid-20th century, around 1955–1965, a period of floral decorative production for the manufacture. The decoration, entirely hand-painted, features a free composition of stylised flowers in bright colours (blue, green, yellow, pink), characteristic of creations from this era. Under the base, there is a brush marking “HB Quimper 510 C.C.”, corresponding to a referenced shape and a workshop decor variant. Height: 25 cm. Material: handmade glazed faience. Decoration: hand-painted polychrome floral. Condition: perfect condition, without chips, cracks, or restoration. Patina: very light internal micro-cracking normal for the glaze, compatible with age. This type of vase, with non-figurative floral decoration, fits into the so-called “international decorative” production, distributed both in the French market and for export in the second half of the 20th century. Beautiful decorative faience from Quimper, homogeneous and elegant, representative of the artisanal know-how of the HB manufacture in the post-war period, ideal for a collection of Breton ceramics or interior decoration.
