Large modernist coffee table in aluminium and smoked glass, 1970.

Elegant coffee table from the 1970s, perfectly illustrating the modernist and minimalist aesthetic of its time. Its architecturally structured brushed aluminium frame, with geometric lines and generous volumes, interacts with an imposing thick smoked glass top with subtly rounded corners. Its design plays on contrasts of materials: the visual lightness of the satin metal complements the depth and changing reflections of the tinted glass, creating a presence that is both understated and sophisticated. The design of the base, composed of wide vertical panels and an exposed structure beneath the top, gives the whole piece a sculptural look reminiscent of certain Italian productions from the 1970s. With its generous proportions (140 × 80 cm), this piece stands out as a true living room table, ideal at the heart of a contemporary, brutalist, or seventies-inspired interior. In good overall condition; note a discreet chip on the edge of the top, barely visible and not affecting the aesthetics or use of the piece.
