Overview. Biedermeier armoire from Austria/Vienna, circa 1825. Distinctive cambered (convex) bow-front with full-height fluted conical columns. Design. Continuous walnut-veneered façade showcasing a warm figured grain and a modest projecting cornice. Low plinth feet and central keyhole escutcheons; the two doors meet at a central vertical seam. Interior. Fitted with four internal shelves lined in black fabric. Door interiors counter-veneered in maple; the piece can be completely dismantled for transport. Materials.
