Biedermeier Wardrobe, Walnut Veneer, South Germany circa 1820

Imposing Biedermeier wardrobe from South Germany, circa 1820. Beautiful walnut veneer and walnut burl on softwood. Full columns and ebonized intermediate fittings. Nice curved cornice in walnut veneer. Key escutcheon inlaid in the horn. Box lock, latches, and original hinges. Interior with three shelves covered with black fabric on the left and old wooden bar on the right. Restored condition with excellent hand polishing with shellac. Can be fully disassembled for transport.
