This iconic Danish lounge chair, designed by Hans Wegner in 1958 for AP Stolen is known as the Airport Chair (AP 39), originally created for the lounge areas of Copenhagen Kastrup Airport. Its sleek, minimalist design embodies the elegance and functionality of mid-century Danish craftsmanship. We have carefully restored this Danish lounge chair and reupholstered it in luxurious cognac-colored aniline leather. Known for its durability, aniline leather develops a rich patina over time, adding depth and character to the piece. The chrome is in excellent condition with some slight marks on the legs which have been left to show the chair's age and character, but can be re-chromed if you so desire. A truly timeless design, this Danish lounge chair seamlessly blends form and function, making it the perfect addition to any style-conscious home. Offering both exceptional comfort and sophisticated style, remaining a statement piece for years to come. Unfortunately we have left the EU zone so additional VAT and paperwork costs are charged when sending goods from the UK ** BUT ** if you pay the full price we will pay the VAT and addiction paperwork costs, you only pay the purchase price and shipping and we will arrange everything else.
