Unique black leather & steel modernist lounge chair, 1960s

An exceptional find, this modernist lounge chair was produced in Denmark around 1960. It is made of genuine black leather combined with a chromed flat steel base. The minimalist design is reminiscent of the works of renowned Danish architects such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjaerholm, but this appears to be a unique piece and may be custom made. It features very high quality manufacturing and is in great condition.
