Gispen de Wit easy chair, Dutch industrial design, 1970s

De wit easy chair (model 4014), designed by toon de wit in the 1950s. This de wit chair is very comfortable to sit in. It is in a in very good condition (see pictures). The seat height is 40 cm. And the seat depth is 47 cm. De wit n.v. This company was founded in schiedam by two brothers toon and martien de wit (toon was the designer) and started producing after the second world war. They made quality tubular furniture (amongst others for gispen). The company closed its doors in 1977.
