Very beautiful pair of Persian candlesticks in the Qajar style, entirely handcrafted with a rich decoration of characters, dragons, birds, and finely chiselled vegetal scrolls. Each surface is richly adorned: medallions with oriental figures, animal friezes, floral motifs, and contrasting black backgrounds typical of traditional niello decoration. Some parts — notably the drip pans and several areas of the shaft — retain a silvered decoration that elegantly contrasts with the warm tones of copper and brass. The whole presents a meticulous work combining copper, brass, silvering, and niello, characteristic of high-quality Persian productions from the early 20th century. The candlesticks are composed of several assembled elements, with removable drip pans. The decoration continues onto the borders, feet, and lower parts, a sign of true care in execution. Dimensions: Height: 21 cm — Base diameter: approximately 11 cm. Weight: 600 g and 624 g. Condition: Very good antique condition with a beautiful patina and signs of use consistent with age. Some marks and slight surface variations are visible, without aesthetic impact. Origin: Persia / Iran — Style: Qajar — Period: 1900–1940.
