Pair of 19th century gilt bronze candlesticks - Château de Compiègne

Lovely pair of 19th century candlesticks in chiseled and gilded bronze. The socket is highlighted with foliage and feathers on a pedestal base with a scalloped edge decorated with a frieze and beaded wire. Each candlestick measures 15cm in height, the base measures 11.5cm in diameter. Each piece is signed by engraving inside. Engraved CP7, mark of the Château de Compiègne.
