An antique Royal Delft hand-painted blue and white ceramic Chinoiserie table lamp. Newly wired by Amitābha Studio with brass fittings, paired with a new blush pink pleated lamp shade, and a matching fabric-wrapped cord. Showcasing the traditional craftsmanship of the renowned Dutch pottery manufacturer, the delicately ribbed vase base was hand-painted in deep cobalt blue botanical motifs and an unique border by Royal Delft master painter Th. A.B. Van Lingen in 1924. It is rare to find a Royal Delft piece from this era. About Royal Delft. Founded in 1653 as De Porceleyne Fles, Royal Delft is the only remaining historic Delftware factory still producing ceramics in the city of Delft. Known worldwide for its hand-painted blue-and-white wares, the factory has preserved traditional techniques while continuing to produce high-quality ceramics well into the 20th century. Pieces dated and marked by Royal Delft are widely collected for their craftsmanship, continuity, and cultural significance. Each lamp is crafted with deep reverence for the original form, using non-invasive methods that preserve the integrity of every antique or vintage vase. The lamp bases are paired with bespoke lampshades and each piece is finished with carefully selected cords, fittings, and handmade brass elements. The studio's work is guided by a commitment to sustainability, cultural heritage, and timeless design.
