Its expressive, almost sail-like silhouette beautifully reflects the experimental character of italian lighting design from this period, blurring the boundary between a functional light source and a sculptural object. The design features a tall curved steel structure rising from a solid anthracite-black circular base. The polished metal sleeve curls around the light source, partially concealing it while allowing a warm, indirect glow to escape through the open side. The contrast between the dark base, reflective steel and illuminated interior creates a dramatic and highly architectural appearance. The lamp remains in good vintage condition.
