Vintage French decorative Space Age table lamp in chromed metal and glass

Vintage French Space Age table lamp in chromed metal and glass, designed by Richard Mathieu, in New Old Stock (NOS) condition. Past and future are merged in this stunning lighting fixture. Its sleek cylindrical lines are twisted by two symmetrical and rounded cuts. This outer sleeve, manufactured in thick chromed metal, envelopes an opaline glass tube which perfectly and evenly diffuses the light produced by two light bulbs. On top, a series of holes allows for heat dissipation, a characteristic of its original design, though it is now fitted with modern LED bulbs. The original sticker is included, confirming the designer’s name and its New Old Stock status. Originating from France in the 1970s, this piece remains in excellent condition.
