"Zagar" Halogen Floor Lamp, First Model in Metal by Silvio Carpani for Stilnovo, Italy 1978

This first model of high quality halogen floor lamp "Zagar" was designed in 1978 by Silvio Carpani for Stilnovo in Italy. Award-winning Italian design: Compasso d'Oro (1980). Carpani is also known for his iconic designs for other Italian brands like Zanotta, Alessi, Danese and Flos. The iconic metallic lamp with its postmodern/brutalist design features a tilt-adjustable halogen light that is also dimmable by a rotary switch on the upper stem of the lamp.
