This desk lamp was designed in the late 1970's, and was produced by lidokov in former czechoslovakia as type l 192 - 1353. The lampshade is held by two steel rods. This allows the user to adjust the lampshade to different positions. The rods are screwed into round rectangle base and the on/off switch is located on a cable separate from the lamp. The lamp itself is a light grey colour on the base and on the metal part of the lampshade. It nicely contrasts with the polished aluminium on the front of the lampshade and also with the silver colour of the supporting rods. Whilst showing some minor signs of use, it still holds great design charm and can be a great and practical addition to contemporary interiors. This piece is in good vintage condition. There are some small scratches and wear on the lampshade and the base due to normal wear and tear. All parts (including the switch, the bulb fitting, cord and the european plug) are original and fully functional.
