Mid-century minimalist table lamp, 1960s, set of 2

Vintage design. Minimalist mid-century table lamps. Cubic shapes permeate this design. The lampshades feature the shape of a long black cuboid, open at the bottom. The colour and shape are echoed in the heavy base plate. The vertical stem is mounted asymmetrically on the back edge of the base plate to support the cantilevered lampshade. A disc joint at the transition between the stem and the arm allows for the alignment of the lamp and the light it emits.
