Large two-door wardrobe with mirrors in Louis XVI style, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Its cornice with fluting, fluted columns, and full-height mirrors make it a bedroom piece of remarkable presence, both architectural and luminous. Materials: oak and birch. Antique bevelled mirrors. Brass hardware. Features: this antique wardrobe opens with two full-height mirror doors, framed by fluted columns and topped with a cornice featuring sculpted fluting: a neoclassical frieze characteristic of the Louis XVI style, elegantly reinterpreted by the cabinetmakers of the Third Republic. The bracketed apron and fluted feet complete the composition with finesse. At the front base, a discreet drawer with a brass handle adds to the storage. The bevelled mirrors, slightly aged by time, enhance the authentic charm of the piece. The doors lock. Inside, the wardrobe is equipped with four shelves (non-adjustable in height). Renovation: the wardrobe has been fully sanded, then washed before being protected with a colourless wax. Dimensions: L109.5 X D45.5 X H206.5. Interior of the cupboard: L98 X D32 X H145.
