Art Deco Parisian bonnetière (renovated)

Elegant and well-proportioned, this Parisian bonnetière is a beautiful representative of the French Art Deco style from the 1930s to 1940s. Sanded, it reveals a light and bright oak that complements both contemporary interiors and a bedroom with a strong character. A functional and decorative piece, with timeless charm. Materials: oak structure (solid and veneer). Original metal chrome hardware: arched handle on the door, bar handles on the drawers. Features: the Art Deco bonnetière is organised around a single door whose geometric composition is typically Art Deco: overlapping panels forming a play of simple and structured frames, with a rectangular mirror in the central part. The fine, graphic chrome arc handle elegantly punctuates the whole. At the bottom, a drawer with bar handles offers additional practical storage space. The bonnetière rests on cut-out bracket feet, a decorative detail characteristic of the late Art Deco repertoire. The interior of the cupboard, which locks, is fitted with three shelves. Renovation: the Parisian bonnetière has been completely sanded and then left in raw wood for a beautifully natural effect. It has also been washed. Dimensions: L89 X D40 X H190.5.
