Mid Century Wall Sconces - Appliques in Glass by VeArt, Murano 1970's

Beautiful, refined and attractive set of two Mid-Century Modern wall lamps / sconces in opaline Murano glass, manufactured by VeArt. They consist of two glass domes, one larger and concave, the other smaller and convex. The smaller one is hinged and can be moved to easily access the light bulb. The two lamps are hardwired, have been rewired for 220/240V and are preserved in overall great conditions. Signs of their age are visible throughout, but there are no traces of damage. The original label identifies them as the product of VeArt, a famed Murano-based manufacturer known for collaborations with designers such as Toni Zuccheri. Condition: Good. Rewired. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Origin: Italy, 1960s. Dimensions: Diameter 33 cm, Height 15 cm.
