Elegant Danish teak chest of drawers model 384 by designer Kris Kristiansen, published by Aksel Kjersgaard between 1950 and 1959. In very good original vintage condition. Ready to use. Can serve as a large bedside table. Danish designer Kai Kristiansen was born in 1929. Like most great Danish designers, he started as an apprentice cabinetmaker. Around 1948, he began his studies at the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, under the guidance of the great designer Kaare Klint. At the age of 26, Kai Kristiansen opened his own studio, where he created furniture typically in the Danish modern style. Dimensions: L60 x D36 x H52. Drawers: L54 x D31 x H7.
