Wheeled sewing box, walnut with tubular steel legs, 1960s

A very attractive vintage sewing box with plenty of space for all manner of sewing and knitting supplies in its practically divided main compartment, as well as a drawer with a recessed walnut handle. Mounted on tubular steel legs fitted with period-style castors, it can be easily moved around the room. The body is made of veneered chipboard, has been sanded and finished with a satin-matt clear varnish, whilst the legs are matt black. The castors run smoothly and have a lovely aged patina.
