Sea shells - terracotta ceramic vase

Featuring the emblematic Naked Summers shells. A portal between the divine and mortals, emerging from the depths of the sea, the ancient gems of nature - the sea shells. Once carrying life and now eternally holding the secrets of the ocean. The mermaids place them on the shore at nights with full moon, hoping that a heart full of summer will find them. This series of hand-painted vases is painted in harmonious, muted tones, celebrating the timeless connection between heritage and modernity. The terracotta clay is both material and metaphor. A grounding surface that allows the archetypes to be reborn under the Mediterranean sun. Terracotta clay, pigment colour, glazed. Designed and hand-painted by Christina Mandilari.
