Medusa - ceramic vase

The fierce Medusa with her snake hair adorned with the emblematic Naked Summers shell on the forehead, and the oceanic flower on the rim, painted in vivid colours. In the artist's interpretation, Medusa was never turned into a monster as a punishment. It was an act of sacred protection. The ability to turn her enemies into stone was not a curse but a gift. Her fierce appearance guards her pure soul. A divine transformation and rebirth. By applying sea water onto the bisque surfaces, the artist invites the unpredictable textures of salt to mark each piece, transforming the surface into a record of both artistic intent and organic reaction. This vase belongs to a limited series of just 10 hand-painted larger ceramic vases, each signed and numbered by the artist.
