Superb lithograph entitled "travail de panneau à travers un cerceau", made in 1952 after an original work by henri de toulouse-lautrec. This print is part of a series dedicated to the world of the circus, a theme dear to the artist, where he captures with dynamism and precision the movement of acrobats. The composition features a clown seen from behind holding a hoop, through which a horsewoman launches in full jump, with the back of the horse visible beneath her. In the background, the stands of the circus add depth to the scene. Toulouse-lautrec captures here all the intensity of the show, between tension and lightness, thanks to an expressive and rapid line. The print is numbered 246/500 at the bottom left and justified in graphite, attesting to its belonging to a limited edition. A handwritten mention "after toulouse-lautrec" appears at the bottom right. The copyright of the musée d'albi, france is printed at the top left, guaranteeing an official licensed edition. The work is printed on paper mounted on cardboard, a technique that ensures good conservation, and framed under glass in a classic gilt frame. A very nice copy for art and toulouse-lautrec lovers. Dimensions - framed: 37 X 47 cm condition - lithograph in very good condition, colors and contrasts well preserved - gilt frame with some light signs of use - glass clean and intact.
