Silver-plated milk jug from the Gallia silversmith for Christofle, octagonal model commonly known as Colbert. Fan-shaped body on a pedestal, bead frieze, handle in blackened wood. Hallmarks Gallia and OC, 1942–1974. Matched with the teapot of the same model available separately. Very good vintage condition.
