White wall lamp console Louis XVI style with pink marble top

Period: ca. Late 19th – early 20th century. A small wall console in white. The style of the sculptures, pearl friezes, corner rosettes and two spiral fluted legs are in the neoclassical louis XVI style. The wooden structure has been painted white and has a beautifully aged patina. The feet are joined by a spacer and a top. The (removable) marble shelf is probably made of portuguese pink marble. There is a hole in the back plate to secure the console to the wall. Status: good. Aged patina. Dimensions: 71.5 cm high, 50 cm wide, 20 cm deep, 5 kg.
