Hand-painted blue and white ceramic table lamp from Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) from 1953, featuring the jubilee mark 1653-1953, floral and Chinoiserie bird motifs, and paired with a new pleated saffron yellow silk shade. Professionally wired with a new socket and fabric-covered cord. The height includes the shade. Meticulously handcrafted by Amitābha Studio from a large vintage Royal Delft fluted blue and white vase from 1953, this lamp combines the tradition of Delft pottery with contemporary designs. The glazed earthenware body is hand-painted in cobalt blue by a Royal Delft master painter. A luxurious floral canopy rises from the rounded shoulder, while birds enliven the scene below, framed by rhythmic patterns around the neck and base. Paired with a new pleated saffron yellow silk shade, the lamp creates a striking dialogue between the crisp Delft Blue ceramic surface and the warm textile glow. Suitable for both historic and contemporary interiors.
