Exceptional large Italian wall plate, entirely hand-painted in Florence. Visible signature "Ricceri" on the decoration. Inscription on the back: Fatto a mano - Firenze. This monumental piece (approximately 70 cm in diameter) is part of the Florentine decorative tradition inspired by Renaissance grotesques: winged mythological figures, stylised plant motifs, perfectly balanced radiant composition.
