Flat plate in Gien earthenware - Rouen Art Deco motif - 1932

An emblematic model of the faïencerie de gien, the rouen bleu pattern was manufactured from 1930 to 1960. The information in my possession allows me to date this piece from 1932. This plate is therefore in cream faïence with a central motif and a blue frieze around the edge. The particularity of this model, and its timelessness, result from the alliance of a shape inherited from the 18th century and an art deco motif still in vogue. Diameter 25 cm. Traces of wear and abrasions on the front. Chips on the back (not visible on the front). Sold with a spring system allowing it to be hung on a wall.
