Oval plate in majolica with a scalloped edge and polychrome decoration in the Raphael style featuring foliage and fantastic animals. Two dragons facing each other frame the Florentine lily, echoing a motif also well-known in the majolica of Deruta. The blue mark on the back of the plate links it to the Bonato di Angarano factory (Archive of ceramic marks letter B).
