Art deco modernist brutalist oak hexagonal cabinet, ca 1910

A rare oak hexagonal chest, cabinet or trunk. The hexagonal top and octagonal shaped bottom legs point to art deco but in our opinion this item also has a modernist and gothic feel to it. As we have never seen this model before we assume it was meant for knitting material and fabric but a guarantee we cannot give. Some people suggested to use it as a small drinks cabinet, other to use it for material for a fire place but we just love it as an object on itself.
