Victorian buffet with marble top and serpentine front, sculpted Verni Martin.

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Victorian walnut serpentine sideboard dated around 1860, featuring a thick marble top and Verni Martin style paintings. It is one of the finest sideboards currently on the market, with truly exquisite and highly ornate carving, as well as hand-painted details. Its serpentine front provides a beautiful curve at the front and sides. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; it is in very good overall condition, with the marble top showing several marks as expected, and the exterior displaying the patina associated with age and use.
