Also known as sarcophagus chests or Vlach chests, due to their association with the Vlachs, nomadic pastoral tribes of the European highlands. Beautifully proportioned, it features a beautiful natural rough finish that highlights the symbolically carved beech exterior. The hardware is hand-forged.
