Secretary 18th

Sloped office / slope secretary / secretary back of transition donkey louis xv, louis XVI. 18th century work of very high quality. The subtly arched feet typical of the louis XV style support a straighter body dressed in greek proper to the louis XVI style. Similarly, the feller is drawn with beautiful curves associated with the louis XV style. Worked in double-sided, this secretary has 5 external drawers, 4 interiors and 1 secret compartment inside. The tablet is decorated with its original tawny leather decorated with gold motifs. Tablet height: 69 cm. Tablet size: 77 cm X 32 cm. The rosewood is worked in symmetrical frieze and is enhanced by the darker colour of the rosewood. Moreover, sycamore nets, forming greek louis xvi, create a subtle and elegant border. Finally, subtle chiseled and gilded bronzes, locks, studs and clogs, come to dress this secretary. Note a restoration of one of the feet (visible in photo) and the wood on the back to work (visible in photo). There is a decorative key for the abbalah, and a functional key for the drawers. One lock is missing and another has been changed recently.
