Here are three charming soup bowls, which could also be used to serve a fruit salad, scoops of ice cream or diverted to an aperitif to present appetizers... They are made of puisaye stoneware with a very pretty glaze mixing soft and comforting tones: beige, caramel and chocolate, material and colors typical of the 70s. A beautiful craft work of the potter jean-pierre prud'homme. They are not signed, just marked with a 1 hollowed out in the material, but I can affirm that they are by jean-pierre prud'homme because I am offering in several lots a complete service of this ceramist, including bowls already sold marked with a number 2 (because just a little bigger). Jean-pierre prud'homme did not sign all his pieces when they were part of a larger service. For the service that I offer in different lots, only the large pieces are signed: dish, tray etc. Jean-pierre prud'homme founded a craft pottery workshop with his wife in 1971 in monnaie, working with clay from the nièvre (puisaye sandstone). This workshop still exists today (au grès du vent workshop), it is run by his son benoit prud'homme who took over in the 1990s-2000s and also creates very beautiful ceramics. These bowls date from the 70s and are in perfect condition, no defects to report, not even a chip! They measure 13.5 cm wide including handles, 11 cm in diameter at the opening and 8 cm in height.
