This charming pot with its lid is made of pyrite stoneware, Puisaye stoneware, it has a very pretty glaze mixing soft and comforting tones: beige, caramel and chocolate, typical material and colors of the 70s. It is signed intaglio on the back JP for Jean-Pierre Prud'homme who founded with his wife, an artisanal pottery workshop in 1971 in Monnaie, working with clay from Nièvre (Puisaye stoneware). This workshop still exists today (Au grès du vent workshop), it is run by his son Benoît Prud'homme who took over in the 1990s-2000s and also creates very beautiful ceramics. This pot dates from the 70s and unfortunately it has not survived the decades without problems. Indeed, if the pot is in perfect condition, the lid has a chip on the underside and a crack coming from it. Fortunately, it is still well joined, and almost invisible. It measures 16 cm in width including handles, approximately 14 cm in maximum diameter and approximately 15 cm in height including the lid.
