Old photograph 1900 horse-drawn carriage Oriental carpet, Brittany

Beautiful and very old photograph depicting a stagecoach, its horses, and its drivers in front of a display of oriental rugs... perhaps someone among you can tell me more about the location, the occasion... if you have any information, I am very interested. The stagecoach has the Brittany marking and my daughter, with her keen young eyes, thinks she can read "correspondence of the west"! This photograph has a very discreet signature, which I hadn't noticed until today! It is just engraved, in relief, without colour at the bottom of the image and indicates "michel" or "nickel". It was part of a collection of about fifteen old photos depicting various scenes with the common theme of one or more horses. The mention "company of the western railways" suggests it dates from the late 1800s or early 1900s, as this company was bought by the state in 1908. It is glued onto a thick, rigid cardboard with a golden border. This photo is in fair condition, with no major stains, but it obviously shows its age of over a hundred years, and therefore has small marks and stains, mainly on the cardboard where they are quite numerous. The cardboard measures 24 cm by 18 cm and the photo 19.6 cm by 13.6 cm. It will be sent well protected against creases but also against moisture.
